Joseph’s sleeping this weekend has been all messed up. He woke up Friday morning and Sunday morning at around 4am and took a while falling back asleep. He fell asleep both days at various times in the car, and then wouldn’t take a nap. We were out late Saturday night at Harland and Lynne’s for dinner so he was up pretty late. On top of that Danielle is fighting either allergies or a cold, so we’re all exhausted.
Despite that, 
the weekend was great. It was a nice treat to get out Saturday night for dinner. The other highlight was a trip to Oxon Hill Farm on Saturday morning. The farm is run by the National Park Service and is a great spot for strolling around and seeing farm animals. It is in Maryland and outside the beltway, which sounds far, but amazingly is just across the Wilson bridge only a few miles from our house. I didn’t know it existed.
On the way back we tried to drive by the new National Harbor development, a massive project underway just south of the bridge on the river. We got close but ended up getting kicked out – it is still under construction.
